A useful precision farming process starts with field boundaries, crop type, season and decision frequency. Those requirements determine the appropriate imagery, revisit interval and spatial resolution.
Remote observations should be combined with available ground measurements and local agronomic knowledge. Cloud cover, canopy stage and differences between sensors can otherwise lead to misleading comparisons.
